In the post-monsoon of 2016 Vertical Resources will be running an expedition to the SW Ridge of CHOLATSE.

Located between the Upper Khumbu and Gokyo Valleys, the SW Ridge of Cholaste is a technical climb with the summit standing at 6440m. Whilst no longer classified as a expedition peak it is a serious undertaking with a glacial approach and exposed Ridge Climbing.

The mountain will be climbed expedition style with fixed ropes.  Unlike other peaks like Ama Dablam, Cholaste is uncrowded.
