We arrived in Namche late yesterday afternoon just before a large storm descended on us – the thunder and lightening was quite intense and a great way to be welcomed to this famous Nepalese mountain village
Our tents kept us warm and dry and and night fell and the temperature dropped the rain turned to slept then snow
This morning we woke to a fresh blanket of snow making for a spectacular sunrise!
A short acclimation walk today took us up to the Everest view hotel and amazing views of the upper Khumbu valley.
Right now the team is enjoying a well deserved dinner in preparation for a early night and a early rise for our walk to Pangboche
There have been lots of laughs and sounds of -wow what an amazing view as for Erika and Fiona it’s their very first experience of the Nepalese Himalaya and to be honest – today’s views have been spectacular
