A small team are heading in the Khumbu to make an attempt on the SW Ridge of Cholatse.  In 2007 i (Mal) made an attempt on The same peak only to be kept in basecmap but the Pre Monsoon Storms.  The Post Monsoon season should give us a much more stable block of time to play on the mountain.

Cholatse litterly  means – Lake / Pass / Peak
It is situated just to the south of Lobuje East and is Near the Cho La.  From Gokyo Lakes it is the most visibly imposing peak in the region.
